So, look at all the bad news...

Hey, its only 3 weeks or so until Christmas, the season of good cheer and the one that many of us look forward to ALL year. So what's with the deluge of BAD, downer news that is coming across the air waves? 

Don't know what I am talking about? Go back over to any news page and re-read the headlines - there will be at least 3 out of 4 negative announcements of one sort or another. And many of them with less than positive predictions about this coming Christmas season! 

I just signed out of my email which brings me to a home page with news headlines on it - so I couldn't help read what they are on about today. The first headline stated that there will be less spending this Christmas, of course with the entire economy in its still depressed state. Another headline was then talking about how no one is buying houses, so the rents must go up! (what kind of logic that is, I'll never know).

So, what to do with all of this 'recessionary' fear spreading and general media dysfunction? Try to ignore it as best we can and get on with it? Yet it does have some effect on us, we are human after all (well most of us are anyway).

Perhaps the best thing to do in this situation, is to intend to enjoy and celebrate and have a great Christmas, in spite of all the nay sayers. Of course, this does not mean to go and spend a load of money on things you don't need or want. 

But, it might mean to feed yourself well, to rest, spend time with people you really want to be with and to turn off the bloody news!

This may sound strange, but what if....

What if all of these flus and bugs that go around from person to person over the winter months, actually serve a purpose? I know, how on earth could I possibly reach that conclusion! How awful it is to get a bug and be down with it for a few days - and to miss work and be so unproductive. 

What if these flus and bugs primed out immune function in a myriad of ways sort of like taking the fancy car out of the garage once in a while and taking it for a spin. But I know, the argument would be that it is not healthy to be sick! And again why spend a few days with some down time when we could be up and at 'em ALL the time.

What if these flus and bugs gave us humans the down time to repair, replenish, rest up and boost our immune function? But I know, just because these evolving strains of viruses have been on this planet for as long as we have doesn't mean that they might actually serve a higher purpose. So why not eradicate each and every one of them and pump our bodies full of man made viral particles that were concocted in a lab last year. 

We should be fine. I mean, since the introduction of these vaccines we have all been so much healthier, haven't we? And what does our body know anyway. So, go ahead, keep on the government Food Disaster programme; eat their food and drink their water, follow their vaccination schedule, then listen to their news of doom and gloom. Worry, eat, fear, drink, and then get sick and take more poison into your system. 

What could possibly be wrong with this picture? I am just saying the obvious and thinking out loud here. What if...you thought about it too.

Diet and Exercise

I came across this article today, what a shocker! Now they tell us that hormone imbalance may be implicated in high rates of obesity and (listen carefully to this) may 'have' to be 'treated' with drugs of some kind to get people sorted.

Right- so now, as the scientists and the doctors start to catch up with all the things that us Nutritionists have been working with and dealing with and talking about for these past YEARS, we need a Big Pharma fix. Its such an untapped market after all- buy your organic food, get your gym membership and because this simply won't ever be enough, have your prescription filled for the hormone shots that you will surely need to keep the weight off. 

It never ceases to amaze me, no astound me, that any chance of a door open or a way in, these drug pushers and pill poppers will surely be standing there, chemical cocktails close to hand. And it always goes back to the one main precept of their tiny worlds- that the human body is not enough, that somehow our bodies have forgotten to heal, to sort out imbalances and how to return to normalized functions. 

IF, you lose weight, with REAL food (and not the plastic stuff on trays), and you do real exercise where activity is incorporated into your REAL life, and then use the 'medicine' that was placed here for our safety and convenience (HERBS) - your body will come back into its own and better. 

Do not let any of this scare you into thinking for one minute that your body is anything less than miraculous, magnificent and more than capable of weight loss, perfect health and beyond. Remember my one golden rule: Don't eat their food and don't for heavens' sake, drink their water. That stuff is poison.

Now, that this has been said, I feel that I can go on with my day.

Mung Bean Burgers


April’s Mung Bean Burgers

1-2 cups of dried mung beans (or much less for 1-2 people)
1-2 cloves garlic
2 cups or more of chopped vegetables (onions, scallions, leeks, etc)
1 cup of cooked chopped spinach
¼ cup of grated carrot or pumpkin or both
Olive oil
Sunflower oil for frying or baking


o       Soak the mung beans for 48 hours in lots of water. Drain, rinse the beans and discard the soaking liquid.

o       Put all the mung beans and raw garlic in a blender or food processor with a little olive oil. Blend or process until you have a smooth and light batter. Transfer the batter into a bowl.

o       Stir in chopped scallions, onions, leeks, grated carrot, chopped or pureed cooked spinach, herbs to taste and cilantro if desired. Or use the vegetables you have on hand- sometimes I use grated pumpkin or squash, and cooked green lentils.

o       Using a frying pan, cook as you would a pancake- spoon some of the mixture onto the pan and flatten with the spatula, fry until crispy on each side.

o      Or the mixture can be placed into an oiled pan and placed in the oven for about 30-40 minutes. I spread artichoke pate or olive pate over the top when I bake it, to give it an added taste.

o      These burgers change as the vegetables you have on hand change and also you can vary the amount of vegetables you add in- we like it chunky with lots of onions and the spinach makes it moist.

o      These are great served with a rice stir-fry and salad or on their own with hummous or guacamole. Very nutritious, tasty and balanced.


 For less people, soak less beans - these are used raw and taste great!!! Enjoy.

Recipe For Spelt Bread


April’s Spelt Bread


2 teaspoons soda bicarbonate
¼ teaspoon sea salt
1 heaping teaspoon cinnamon or herbs (thyme, oregano etc)
6 cups spelt flour
small hand full sultanas and sunflower seeds
3 ½ cups of liquid (Goat’s Milk + water)
Olive Oil

o      Apparently the key to best results using spelt flour is the time involved, once the flour is wet, you have to move quickly to get it mixed and placed into a pan and then into the oven. I have heard that it is about 4 minutes, so I aim for that or less.

o      Turn your oven on to 170C

o      In a deep bowl, mix together soda bicarbonate, sea salt and cinnamon. Then add the sultanas and seeds

o      Take a large lasagne dish or equivalent and using the olive oil coat the bottom of it, flour it well.

o      Next add the flour, folding it into the other ingredients and mix well by stirring and folding over and over to evenly distribute the soda.

o      Pour off the liquid into a large measuring cup or another bowl, mixing together the goat’s milk and water (I use only spring water to make a beautiful bread)

o      Slowly add the liquid while mixing it into the flour until all is wet and you have a heavy wet looking mixture that is not sloppy or too hard, somewhere in between.

o      Spoon it into the pan, but dropping large spoonfuls down again with very little over mixing until it is all in the pan.

o      Place in a hot oven for about 40 - 45 minutes. Each oven is different, so you may have to watch this carefully the first time and see what your oven does with this time/temp combination

o      You can also use herbs instead of the cinnamon or nothing at all. The spring water gives a fresh tasting bread.

*** These days as I am doing a cleanse, I am not using milk for the bread only water and it tastes wonderful. So, you do not need to use milk at all if you don't want to. As well, this makes a big pan of bread or about 3 loaves. Half the ingredients to make less. I use organic ingredients for maximum nutrition in my recipes.

The Only Way To Lose Weight....

I have come to find out during my years working in the food, diet, nutrition fields and as a Medical Intuitive, that the only way forward with regards to weight loss is to detox your body as the weight comes off. 

Our bodies use fat to store toxins and debris that can clog up the system - it is a very efficient and life preserving mechanism. These toxins have usually built up over a life time and can only be broken down with specific support for the organs and of course exercise to help push them out thoroughly. These days we are exposed to far more chemicals and poisons which also interact within the body giving rise to the situation (excess weight and ill health) that we are now in.

Toxic fat stores need to be carefully removed during a time of liver support, careful diet and exercise and self reflection. This is not something to be taken up lightly either as I have seen many people who lose weight quickly and without detoxing become unwell as a result. And, if lots of toxic debris is circulation round the body, your body will do everything to put the weight back on, just to keep you safe. 

Why waste time and energy to take off weight and then put it back on again? Why not detox as you go and do it properly. Take your time, build up your body and create the life you always dreamed of having.

Food Revolution

For those of us who are watching and supporting the many revolutions that are taking place around the planet but are unable to physically be there- there is so much else that can be done. And perhaps even more important work that must be done to start to break down these monopolies who control our money, economies, food, water, media, and ultimately our minds.

I see it often during some of these protests, ‘access to better health care’ written on placards and it has left me feeling perplexed. There are some basic tenets that every human living on this planet needs to get back to- and the fundamental one would be food. How to feed ourselves so that the body and mind is well nourished and in a healthy state has been eroded in less then several generations. We have been duped into thinking that we actually ‘need’ health care- what we need is self care in the form of fresh whole food and clean water.

Control of the people doesn’t stop with these Big Food, Big Agri, Big Seed and Big Market corporations either! Perhaps it only begins there, because control of the people spills over into Big Pharma, Big Gov and Big Bank. So, each of these mega corporations has a stake in how well you feed yourself and the general health of your body. This is a fact because ‘they’ have an insatiable desire to control and you cannot be controlled if and when you are eating, drinking and living in a state of natural health.

In a short period of time, you will rebuild your mind (and body) and start to think for yourself. It is so simple- all you need is real food, that is clean, fresh and simply prepared.

All this food out there- there is NO food crisis in terms of supply, there is only a crisis in methods of marketing mass hysteria to get you to believe that the crap on the shelves in the Big Supermarket has any thing to do with food. If you walk into any modern shop you will see that only about 5-10% of the available food is fresh, unadulterated, and next to nothing is unpackaged!

In order to get your body on the road to a better way of being, you must change the food that you are eating and the water you are drinking. And for some that will mean a fundamental shift in thinking and perhaps a move out to the country where you can access well or spring water and grow a garden.

Your best defence against the systems that need to control you and for you to cooperate with them is your health- clean healthy body and clear mind. We are conformists as long as we eat what is put before us and spend our days in a spaced out haze because this food clogs up our internal processes and keeps us down.

Feeding yourself packaged, drugged up and chemical laced ‘food’ has your body tissues toxic and your mind unable to think clearly. From my experience this also gives rise to fear, depression, irritable bowel type issues, and a down regulated immune response (or as I call it passivity) which proceeds on to disease and dysfunction. Of course, this then requires treatment in the form of more packages of drugs and chemicals and more fear!

Can’t you see the pattern here? Eat their food, drink their water, spend your time  wandering through life and not thinking beyond what the box tells you, become unwell and end your days eating tablets that only add to the misery. Is this what we have come to? Or is this what has been made of us through the extensive use of mind control, mass marketing, economic debt and poor food/water?

Today I was asked, So where to start? If you want to join a revolution, start here- with you and your family. Pick the three most toxic items in your diet (life?) and remove them. It is that simple. For some it will be sugar, caffeine, alcohol- toxins which slow down the liver and wreak havoc with our immune function. For others it will be a food that you eat far too much of- packaged cereal, take aways, chocolate.

I know that some may be thinking- well how do I live without this or that? It can’t be all that bad- no? We have been so manipulated into thinking that just because something is on the shelf in a supermarket 365 days a year that it should be consumed as such. Never before have we had access to sugar, caffeine, alcohol, packaged foods, chocolate, boxes of processed stuff- all the time.

Your body is designed to eat fresh, whole veggies, fruits, some grains, some fish, little meat and clean water. Anything else is a stress on the digestion and clogs up the nutrient pathways. And we havn’t even gotten to detoxification and the function of the rest of the body!

Choose 3 ways that you can change and start to implement them today- you will feel better tomorrow and every day that follows as you wean yourself off of an entire system that has been cleverly designed to manage the people. Refuse to be controlled, don’t conform, and do not under any circumstances eat their food or drink their water.

Join the Revolution- we shall fight, we will win!

Supplements In the News

Well, for those who know me, and have read my books you know that I am not a fan of supplements and I myself never take them under any circumstances. They do not feel right nor do the entire set up of taking individual nutrients sound in any way safe. There are just far too many parameters involved in the digestive process- food is the only way to achieve balance within the body systems.

This week there is a study out that gives yet another warning about this very thing- it comes after a long list of them. Every so often one scientific paper surfaces that puts some information out there in the public domain about this problem. Yet, it goes largely unnoticed by everyone as there is too much money to be made selling Big Pharma drugs to everyone- even when you think you are avoiding them! 

Anything you purchase in the form of a pill, tablet, capsule or artificial food source is in support of a false paradigm surrounding food, diet and nutrition. You cannot fulfill your nutritional needs by taking supplements- the biological pathways for uptake, distribution and assimilation of these products do not overlap into digestive pathways.

You are feeding the yeast, mold, fungus and nasty bacteria in your gut- easy, fast food, they don't even have to digest it. No wonder you feel better temporarily. But, it doesn't last as these pathogens will only want more. 

If you want to make some changes to your life, your appearance, your health and your energy- the only way to do this is with food. Real, food that you actually have to cook and then eat. Call me crazy- but that is the way the body works and has for a long time.

OMG- Now they are Nutritionists too???


Obesity is at an epidemic level reports the daily news sources- well I wonder how did that happen? And now the UK government wants to do something about it. That is wonderful news! The first thing that they can do about this epidemic is go into these supermarkets and declare an outrageous tax on 90% of what is on the shelves- these can all go into the non food category.

Crisps are NOT a food group
Sweets are NOT a treat
Caffeine containing drinks need to be classified as a drug
Prepared food is not fit for human consumption
And what is all this packaged stuff? U.F.O. – unidentified food origin

Message to all governments everywhere- if you want people to lose weight (and you don’t) start with the food manufacturers and then put an honest effort into some real form of nutrition education.

I laughed when I read that Boots pharmacists will now be offering nutrition advice. So, with your chlosterol pills you can go down aisle 3 and get some yummy weight watchers low fat, low calorie, low vibration plastic meal and take off those extra pounds.

My God! I think we just went one giant leap backwards. AHHHHHHHHH! (tears hair out)



Such a sad week....

With the loss of Steve Jobs and many others needlessly to cancer I am reminded of what it takes to overcome this type of illness. Most of it is mental, the physical part can be accomplished with simple changes to diet and exercise. It is the emotional fallout that can be the place of weakness.

I have been reading up on the little bit that is known about his struggle with illness on both sides of it. Of course, I would clearly be of the belief that this man should not have died and that no one else should suffer such a fate. All of the answers are here and have been all along. 

Perhaps this is one of the biggest crimes of our times- that people are led to believe that conventional medicine with its poisonous cocktails and medieval techniques is the safer, higher road to take. But nothing could be further from the truth. 

I learned this week that Steve Jobs resisted surgery and treatment for nearly a whole year after his diagnosis. Then they frightened him with a worse prognosis while he was pursuing an alternative route. I remember the nay sayers when I had cancer- those who told me that I did not know what I was doing, that I looked so unwell and would die if I did not get 'treatment'.

My treatment was working, my body always knows what it is doing. This is the fundamental principle when it comes to healing, illness and dysfunction. When you are feeding you body properly, drinking clean living water and exercising- anything that is created within the body can and will be undone, healed, fixed, sorted and otherwise overcome.

Yes, you may feel awful, and you will go through quite a lot. The symptoms I experienced of weight loss, hair loss, cold, pain, numbness, sinus, kidney, bowel infections, weakness and so forth - changed and altered each and every day so that I knew where my body was at. There was no way that I was going to shut them down- I just worked with and around them.

And after a short time, my body began to restore balance as healing took place. The cancer was then gone after a few weeks, however my healing journey was to last another full 5 years as I remained on a restricted diet to ensure that my tissues rebuilt in the healthiest possible way. 

I think that Steve Jobs was on the right track and then was sidelined in his efforts by the 'experts'. Once you have Failed to listen to your own body the battle is lost.

Healing is an area that these 'doctors' still seem to know so little about.

Lets Talk About the Fallen Angels

There are so many people out there working with angels, calling them in and other wise going into spaces where they congregate. Angels are lovely, they are messengers of the divine and have many roles to play in our lives and in the world we live in. Yet, there are so many fallen Angels - and what are their distinguishing features?  Does anyone really know and are they watching carefully to see what shows up when these entities are summoned?

I have been working in this field of 25 years, and to the best of my knowledge there is not one person who is asking for and using discernment - and then putting two and two together when entities enter. I know of so many instances where practitioners call someone thing in to their work space and then don't bother to check (or do they even know?) what shows up and what it is doing there.

One of the many things that I have found out over the years, is that you are the Angel, You are in charge of the energy of the space and you must know at all times what is there and maintain control of it. If you are calling things in, ANYTHING can and will show up- how would you know otherwise???

I started out many years ago with the Reiki, like a lot of other people, and the teachers also called in entities telling us that they were extra hands to help. But I never felt right about it and I have since talked to many others with the same experiences. 

One of the side effects of these Angel Buddies showing up was an incredible craving for sugar and any rubbish foods that I could find. Think about it, sugar is a toxin, an anti nutrient, it depletes your body of necessary resources and that is not the worst of it! It also lowers the immune function for several hours after ingestion. 

Your immune system is your first line of defence against ALL invaders and intruders- including these Fallen Angels, Entities and Foreign species. 

In my practice, I treat mainly professional practitioners of some kind or other- many of them have had these same experiences and end up at my door because they cannot get rid of these energy attachments once they come into the energy field. 

If this is an Angel working for the greater good and sent from God, it does NOT interfere with your body, it does not cause cravings, it does not have a negative influence over your life and it does not show up at your work. You as a healer are well equipped with all of the tools that are necessary to do your work. 

Anything else is not supposed to be there. These energy entities have become epidemic and are making many healers SICK- I am seeing mainly hormonal imbalances, candida issues, weight gain, out of control and disordered eating, auto immune disease, and viral conditions of unknown origin just to name a few. 

If this is making you sick- My God, there is a problem. Please stop what you are doing and seek clarification, please ask questions and do not believe that just because it shows up, that it is supposed to be there or that it is a good thing.

In any diet, don't forget about water

No matter how you are eating right now, give some careful consideration to the source of your water. If it is from a tap, there are some serious concerns with it. The least of which is the multiple contamination from various bugs...its not that at all. I would be far more concerned with the medicating of the general population using chlorine and fluoride. These two drugs are in our water here in Ireland and I have for many years gone out of my way to avoid using it at all costs.

There is much written and said about putting chemicals into our drinking water- usually the government line is that they are making it safe for us to drink. Actually it was safe to drink long before they did anything with it! If it wasn't run through miles of pipes and through unnatural reservoirs we probably wouldn't have many issues with the water.

Personally, I like my water to be alive. I do not want it tampered with, filtered or medicated. I just want it straight from the ground the way it was intended. And I know that then people would argue, but the ground is contaminated. I don't feel that it is any worse than the water- and nature does know how to filter all by herself.

Whatever your diet, there is one aspect of your life that can be sorted very simply- your water. And I do not mean for you to go and buy plastic water either, perhaps it is as bad or worse. Find a well, a spring - another clean source for your water. In Ireland there are many, and I can think of other places as well where they can be found easily enough.

This one fact of clean water (your body is about 66% H2O) could change your life.

Take a Stand

'If you are not part of the cure, then you are part of the problem'

I don't know who first said this, but it is so true- and perhaps at no other time than now. There are so many issues that we are faced with in our day to day existence, I would say that none is more important to us as humans on this planet then our health. And I am not talking about health care, hospitals, doctors and the entire Big Pharma scheme to make us think we are sick and then to help keep us that way.

I am talking about our overall thinking about food, exercise, nutrition, health and illness and all of the fallacies that have been inserted into mainstream thinking. Just to bring up a few, we believe that we need drugs to cure us, we think that babies should be born in hospitals, we expect to become ill and dependent as we age, and we are told that doctors know best and we do not.

I don't happen to agree with any of the above statements and perhaps I am living proof of that disbelief! I would not take a drug because my life depends on it and in my business have seen people die from their effects. I would not go near a hospital it I was pregnant, had my last baby at home in bliss and great health, for us both.

And I have no intentions of getting old AND sick, that is why I take care of myself now. I know for a fact that I happen to know my body better than anyone and as a result know what is best for me.

Taking a stand for your health could be a positive start for making changes in the rest of your life as well. An easy place to start is your diet, make one change a week and see how you feel.

My Master Cleanse

I have been doing this and talking about it for several weeks now, and it is really helping me to get things moving forward in my life. I am feeling lighter in myself, more in control and like I can do the things that I have longed dreamed of. So here is my recipe and some info on my Master Cleanse. I use herbal teas in clean spring water, and drink this for the 24 hour time frame. If you are new to this, add to these teas, some juices and dandelion coffee to get your through it. Once you get used to doing this regularly, your body looks forward to it and as you always feel great afterwards!

Aprils’ Master Cleanse

Yeast, fungus and mold have become epidemic in our bodies possibly causing the vast majority of dysfunction and disease. These pathogenic organisms take over in the gut whenever the opportunity arises and are known to cause many of the symptoms we are feeling and dealing with on a daily basis.

If you suspect candida is causing your problems, and want to do something immediate to combat this and alleviate a few symptoms- try a 24 hour Master Cleanse that is specially formulated by April to deal with yeast and mold overgrowth. You can also do this to give your digestion a break, jump start a detox or weight loss program and to feel better.

A cleanse is very different from a detox- while a cleanse is similar to cleaning your kitchen, a proper detox is like moving or renovating your house. Once you have established a better eating regimen, the cleanse is more effective, however it will be of significant benefit under any circumstances.

It is best to start in the morning when not having eaten since the day before. Carry on with your normal activities as usual, while being mindful of the purpose of the cleanse and any specific things that come up. Prepare your cleanse juice ahead of time or first thing in the morning and start drinking it right away.

April’s Recipe

Using a big jug pour about 2-3 litres of tea* inside
Juice of 1 lemon, 1 lime and 1 orange (plus pulp if desired)
2 tablespoons of maple syrup
½ teaspoon ground black pepper

*Use spring water to make the tea (nettle, dandelion, marigold, lemon balm, rose, rosehips, milk thistle seeds- in different combinations). Repeat this tea as much as you need to for the 24 hours, at least 2-3 litres and more if desired.

Drink this blend for the full 24 hours using different combinations of the teas (nettle, rose and marigold, then dandelion, lemon balm and rosehips etc). Do not store liquid in plastic bottles, consume within the 24 hours.

Everyone is Talking About Change...

This is it, this is the time that we have all been waiting for, when things finally change in the world. There are so many people around the planet waking up right now to their particular lives and circumstances and asking the same questions- how do I change this? What can I do to make things better for myself and my family?

All change starts with you. You are the only one that can change your own life and there is no time like the present to take some positive steps forward in that direction. If you don't know where to start, notice what you complain about the most- is it your friends? Then move away from them. Is it your body, weight, health? Then change your diet and lifestyle. Is it money? Then take steps today to seek out other sources of income.

This list is endless. You are in charge, you have always been in charge and you have to take back control of your own life. If you are not living your life, and you have not stepped into your power, than someone else has been living through you and using your resources. 

This is simply the way that energy works. Use it or lose it- use it or be used. 

There is no time like the present to allow yourself to wake up- that's right, ALLOW. You will find what you are seeking, look for the highest truth and follow the signs. Waking up is not hard to do, its what to do next that challenges us. You must change or forever be controlled.

The Way to Detox

This is probably the best time of year, anytime between now and Christmas - for detox.  Today I was reading in the internet and came across several mentions and articles on this topic and it caught my attention because they were generally so way off base...made me wonder if the people who wrote them have ever done a detox themselves.

Right now I am deep in the middle of a detox, about 5 weeks into it with changes to diet, exercise routine and generally working away at removing embedded toxins. A detox takes time- lots of time. You cannot flood your body with toxins and then expect it to be mopped up instantly.

Preferably detoxing will be done with a weight loss program, where the toxins released by the fat/tissue as the weight comes off are dealt with gently by use of detoxifying herbs, skin brushing, massage, exercise and of course the all important emotional work.

Your body will never deliberately allow your tissues to be toxic- there are safe guards and mechanisms in place for this and of course the presence of toxins is the reason for the weight in the first place. Once this weight comes off in a planned, controlled manner, a detox plan should also be in place to safely remove these poisons from the system. And then the weight will not need to come back on.

Needless to say this is not done in a weekend- such a detox needs planning and then careful attention to the diet and lifestyle. It is also challenging and not to be taken lightly.

If you want things to change in your life, if you find you are stuck in old negative patterns which hold you back, if there is excess weight, IBS, depression etc- then perhaps it is time for a detox. I will keep you posted on how I am doing...

Truth is hard to come by....

I have been talking about this for many years and it is reaching epidemic proportions at this point. Each and every week I hear from someone, somewhere how they have been to see a healer, energy worker, therapist, holistic practitioner of some kind and that now they are 'worse'. And not worse in the healing crisis sense of things- but worse for the work that has been done on them.

You cannot do a weekend course in 'energy' therapy of any kind and consider yourself competent. You cannot live your life as a 'healer' and carry on as if this was an ordinary job. You cannot live with one foot in this world and one foot in another. 

At some point you have to make a decision about what you want to be or do with your life and then you have to do it. This is not a job for just anyone- either you are with the programme and you eat, live, walk like a healer or you do not. You are either walking the talk and following the way of the healer or you are not. There are no shortcuts, there is no time off and there are no breaks. 

This is full on, lifelong and hard work. 

To do less than any of these is to short change yourself, the people you work with and what is worse, to create more harm than good. 

Time to make a decision people, walk it or leave it.

Its Time

The world is rapidly changing- and we must go with it. It is time to start looking at all the ways that your life is held back and to get this ball rolling. If you are tired, frustrated, angry, worried and broke-- isn't it time to do something completely different than what you are doing right now? 

To get the ball rolling just pick one area of your life and be determined to get things moving. There are so many things that you can do and more than a few ways to go about doing them. I needed a change as well and here is how I spent my last few weeks:

Moving house
Revamping exercise program
Changing Clinic
Signing up for a course
Getting rid of stuff

I am still in the getting rid of stuff phase as I want to feel the lightness of having less possessions. But also on a practical level, things seem to accumulate and we really do not need half of what we have. 

This has been a year of release and it just continues! The world is waking up and shaking off the old dead energy through revolutions, protests, speaking out and sometimes violence. We are in a very different place then we were just a few months ago. 

While the establishment tries to hold us back and monitor our 'thoughts'  - they will soon find that they are too slow and completely unequipped to keep up with the 'winds of change'.

You know how sometimes, you just know that you need to write something, even though you are not at all sure what it is? It has been one of those months for me. LIke everything is sitting on the tip of my tongue and pressuring the top of my head, yet I can't seem to put the words together. 

This has been an extraordinary time living a life as an Intuitive. When you just 'know' things- about everything, it can be quite disconcerting when not one thing that we are being told happens to be the truth. This is where I get stuck- I always expect people, media, organisations, etc to be at least as honest as they can be about the information that is released to the public.

No one was happier than me, when Murdoch et al and the empire of information control built and directed by him started to crumble. I know it has a long way to go, but the important thing here for all of us trying to walk the talk is that maybe now 'truth' will stand a chance.

Perhaps it will be many months or even years before the full scale of the coverups, lies, corruption and deceit unravels enough for us to see things for what they are (or were). But maybe even now we can get glimpses of the effects of this destructive behaviour in our lives.

WE HAVE BEEN LIVING A LIE. Our whole lives and entire existence here in this reality as we think we know it is a lie. And there are so many who have gone to such lengths and continue to go and do everything that they can to keep us in the dark.

My hope for humanity right now is that these Big Organisations such as 'the Church' or Big Religion, these media empires, Big Gov and Big Food- that this false world they have carefully constructed will come apart at the seams and scatter into the ethers.

It will be the biggest mess in human history- but oh what freedom will come from the clean up!!

Angels- Unawares

I knew when this year rolled around that it was going to be a different sort of year, I just never knew what way these twists and turns would take in my life. What has started out as a battle- in Tunisia- has become a movement, and this movement became a revolution. Now, with consciousness rising all over the planet on all kinds of issues, an evolution of a revolution is an awakening.

Over the past few years I have had my share of dark nights of the soul, my life has been anything but easy, yet we have soldiered on, believing that there is light in the darkness, and just that glimmer teasing us would be encouragement for weary travelers. During these past few years, I have been walking though the long shadow land of the fallen angels and have written about them extensively.

However in keeping with this new energy rising up, I wanted to share a little about some of my days when I encounter guardians, keepers and angels who have not succumbed to the evil ways. There are so many doing good in the world and so much goodness that can be focused on.

During these past few weeks in front of my clinic, a pair of swans have hatched some signets in the canal, there were 3 at first and then one was swept over the little water falls and lost. We were not paying attention enough- or were not fast enough to get the little one back. All day long people stop and watch them, the swan family, there are pictures going round the world of them I am sure! It has been such a delight to see them and for this little piece of nature to be so close by to us.

As the baby swans were still very tiny in the past few weeks, after the first one was lost, we became more vigilant and enlisted Swan Rescue (yes, all true!) to help us keep an eye out for them. In the first week one little swan went over the falls again and a passerby stripped down to his underwear and jumped into the frigid canal to retrieve the baby bird while his frantic parents swam around in circles looking for him.

Once he was out of the water Swan Rescue was already on the scene and were able to check him over, healthy little guy. The following week, at another location, both baby swans went over the falls, this time the mother went in after them, but all she could do was swim with them as they were being swept out to sea. She was distressed again at not being able to help them.

The current is very strong and there is a good undertow. The area where they went in, there just happened to be a fisherman with a huge net who went into the water up to his chest and was able to get the two signets and bring them in. Swan Rescue picked up the mother who followed (very nicely) and all were brought back to their nesting area safely.

And we started taking it in turns to look out for them, until this past week or so, when they finally seemed to be that much bigger, stronger swimmers and more able to look after themselves.

So why am I telling you all this? And what has this got to do with Angels? What has been driven home for me in this past few weeks is how much we are watched, cared for and looked after, even if we do not realize it. However, if I know anything about angels, they will only step in if you ask, and in the meantime they are there waiting patiently anytime you might need their help.

Organic food- Taste the Difference

We usually have organic popcorn on a movie night and enjoy it thoroughly. But last week, there wasn't any to be found at the shops, so we got the next best thing 'natural' popcorn. The first occasion to try it was last night, and what a difference between the two.

We have been exclusively eating organic food for many years, and only now and then does something that is not organic, wild harvested or bio get into the house. You tend to forget the subtle and not so subtle differences that food grown without chemicals makes.

The popcorn made last night did not pop as well, we only got about 3/4 of popped corn compared to organic stuff. We ate it, it wasn't horrible, but there were differences in the taste, smell and texture. It just wasn't as good as the organic popcorn that we had been eating.

So, today, I went on a hunt to find some organic popcorn! Perhaps after so many years of eating better our taste buds are fully functional and refuse anything less. I still remember a few years ago after I made a complete switch to all organic (and vegan at the time) when one day I tasted an almond and it was like an explosion of all these subtle flavours that I had never noticed before. I finally understood what wine tasters might experience- notes like music bursting along the tongue as the almond was eaten. 

Recently I came across a video of someone speaking about herbs and how organic and wild harvested are far superior to others, especially if they are being used as medicine and in a healing capacity. So, I am pleased that I only offer and use these myself and it confirmed what I have known all along.

Organic is worth the money, all good food is worth it. Remember it is the vibration or the energy of the food that matters as much as the food itself. Plants that are grown under a rota of chemical sprays do not have the energetic qualities that I am looking for in my food. These chemicals, like medication, lower the vitality and life force or perhaps even destroy it. 

Go as organic as you can, your body will thank you for it.

So what does a nutritionist eat?

I get asked this question all the time, and I also hear the comment, if I cut out wheat, dairy, sugar, alcohol, caffeine etc, then what do I eat??? LOL So, I decided to show you the foods that I am cooking from time to time, and prove that there is plenty to eat, especially with all of the toxins removed.

For dinner I made a lovely salad with grated carrot, apple, juice of an orange, then some salad greens like the cress (I added some fresh spinach leaves too). Very fresh, spicy and uplifting.

Then I chopped the cabbage with onion and garlic this was stir fried until tender, it smells divine! And I sliced some hard boiled duck eggs to go with it all as the protein source. With a piece of fresh spelt bread, it was filling and tasty.


Add a little fresh coriander, salt and pepper and you have lovely flavours too! 


Maybe next time I will do my spelt bread.....hmmm

I used to eat that...

These days I spend a lot of time watching and listening, and I realise that I have done this for some time. I am still so aware of what others are saying about the food that they are eating and drinking. We are bombarded with food, adverts, shows, books, blogs- yet look at us. Health is still such a very important issue. So what are we doing wrong on the food front? 

One of the reasons I wanted to get back into keeping a blog like this is to share my journey back to health, all thanks to food. I no longer feel that I am eating the wrong things, I know that the food I choose to eat nourishes me and my family. 

Lately we are growing more than ever in the garden, in a small green house and are all just really enjoying that while we have lots of other things to complain about, it is not health related and at one time it was. 

I work as a nutrition therapist, conduct research, am a Medical Intuitive and combine all that I do into some kind of Energy Medicine for the body, mind and soul. At the basis of all of this is the food, water, herbs and exercise habits that I use every day to keep me healthy and moving forward in this awakening world.

This is a blog about eating the right foods to stay healthy as a practitioner of Energy Medicine, a therapist, a healer, a spiritual teacher, a light worker and anything that you may call yourself these days. If you work with or around energy, and you do not take specific care for yourself, you will become depleted, unwell and sick. High energy work demands a high energy diet.
